Welcome to Triangle Threads, where adventure meets retro style.
We're Chris and Rachel, and we started Triangle Threads because we were tired of destination apparel that ended up in donation piles. You know the ones—they look great in the gift shop but fall apart after a couple washes, fade into oblivion, or just feel… forgettable.
Based in Raleigh, North Carolina (in the heart of the Research "Triangle"—hence the name).
We're halfway between the Blue Ridge and the Atlantic. We're not extreme adventurers or full-time nomads—we're just regular people who love exploring new places, both near and far. And we wanted travel apparel that actually reflects those adventures—shirts worth keeping, not tossing.
So in 2023, we launched Triangle Threads with vintage-inspired designs pulled straight from the 80s and 90s era we grew up loving. Chris designs every piece with bold, retro graphics and colors that pop. Rachel handles customer service—because when you're running a small business, every customer matters. What started as a side project took off in 2024, and now it's what we do full-time.
The parks have given us so much, so we wanted to give something back. Triangle Threads is a proud Sapling Program member of the National Forest Foundation—the congressionally chartered nonprofit that partners with the U.S. Forest Service to reforest America's National Forests.
As part of our commitment to the wild places we love, we contribute to NFF's reforestation work on public lands across the country.
We're creating apparel for people who treat their travels like a collection—high-quality memories you actually wear, not souvenirs that collect dust. Whether you found us through a search, a recommendation, or just stumbled onto our little corner of the internet—thanks for giving us a shot.
Here's to trips worth remembering and shirts worth keeping.
